Older I get the more I realize the world is not mine
Here for a time
you stuff your face with all the cake you can find
and you think you know me
but you only know your insecurity
let the fur loose
until everyone you know is beyond use
I'm in a world of pain, I can't get you out of my blood
Can't pull into church at midnight
without your mirrors filled with red and blue lights
Your face is a muse
But you tell me all you'll ever do is lose
Depression eyes
Under the veil of your small town eyes

There is a lot to hear here and unsurprisingly it's a mixed bag, but Passing Strange's stunning arrangement of "Tourniquet" blows me away. They make it sound like it was ALWAYS a piano ballad, and their contribution was to rock it up with lively drums. summer villain
