We've all but lost our brightest days, our past we trust so we stay
In deepest dark we breath and move, it's how we know to be safe
Always time, it spins - we spin
Silence says it all
Always present doubts are drifting through our thick stale space
Retreat into a golden place, it's almost worth the pain
We've all but lost our brightest days, our past we trust so we stay

There is a lot to hear here and unsurprisingly it's a mixed bag, but Passing Strange's stunning arrangement of "Tourniquet" blows me away. They make it sound like it was ALWAYS a piano ballad, and their contribution was to rock it up with lively drums. summer villain
